Notes+
A native Mac notes app for developers, with quick capture from any app, a board for every project, and an iPhone app that stays in sync.

⌃Space opens a small capture popover over whatever app you're in. Pick a project, type the note, tag it as an idea, bug, task or note, and it files itself. Every project gets its own board, and a To do row on Home gathers the open bugs, tasks and ideas from every project, highest priority first.
Notes hold rich text, checklists, pasted images, sketch boards and code blocks coloured by language. A note can become a Jira issue in one click, with the ticket's status coming back to it, and an MCP server and local API let Claude Code read and file notes.
Synced with iPhone
Notes+ has an iOS app that carries the same projects and notes. Turn on sync on the Mac and they follow you to the iPhone through CloudKit, in the private iCloud database of your own Apple Account, end-to-end encrypted when Advanced Data Protection is on. The iPhone app is in TestFlight for now.
There is no account, no sign-up and no telemetry. Notes live in a SQLite database on your Mac and only go elsewhere if you connect something, such as iCloud sync, Jira or a Postgres database for projects shared with colleagues. Built with SwiftUI and AppKit, free, signed and notarised, for macOS 14 or later.
